Prof. Cho Young- jin of the Department of Helicopter Operation at our university received a commendation from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport on December 31 last year. Prof. Cho was reputed to have contributed greatly to the amendment of the Aviation Safety Act by presenting clear standards for the domestic simulated flight training system through various papers and reports. The revision of the relevant aviation safety laws led to the improvement of the overall system related to the training curriculums of domestic airlines and educational institutions. In particular, Prof. Cho made a great achievement in developing flight education in our university's Helicopter Operation Department by applying the helicopter simulated training system.
